OCRPAC 5.6 contains the following features:
OCRPAC is a simple to use data entry automation system for Sage ACCPAC ERP. Modulo welcome your suggestions for future enhancements.
OCRPAC automates data entry for Sage ACCPAC ERP Accounts Payable Vendor Invoices and is available bundled with Modulo Software’s eImagePac for a total document management solution.
- OCRPAC 5.6 is developed using the ACCPAC Software Development Kit (SDK) and is a tightly integrated ACCPAC third party solution.
- From version 5.6 onwards, Modulo will not be updating Online help documents for our products. The 5.5 version of online help is included with the program package, but for the latest documentation please refer to the manual.
- ACCPAC (and OCRPAC) require an ACCPAC Lanpak (user licence) for each user logged onto the ACCPAC System Manager. OCRPAC also has it’s own multi-user licensing system. OCRPAC comes with a single concurrent user licence as standard. Additional user licences may be purchased where more than one user accesses OCRPAC at once.
- Supports operation in the ACCPAC Windows desktop and available for all Sage ACCPAC ERP editions and databases. Internet Explorer browser support is not available in this release.
- Uses standard ACCPAC user security. ACCPAC User Groups can be assigned special OCRPAC processing privileges
- Enhances existing ACCPAC transaction windows which simplifies and streamlines user acceptance and training.
- OCRPAC supports the popular file format(s) that your organisation prefers i.e. GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, FAX, AWD, STF, EPS and PDF.
- Different documents can be processed with different file types and resolutions, even for invoices from the same Vendor.
- OCRPAC now allows the user to view and move between pages on a scanned invoice that contains multiple pages. When using Ocrpac with multipage documents, only the first page of the document can be used for automated data capture with an OCRPAC template.
- Support for Twain Device Scanning has been added to enable retrieval of a document straight from a scanner. To use this feature you must have a scanner that supports scanning using a twain interface. Modulo recommends using a resolution of 300x300 and Black and White colour for best performance and results.
- If the document identifier e.g. Business Number or Phone Number, retrieved from an invoice is found for more than one vendor, OCRPAC will ask the user to select which vendor to use. Previously the user received an error message and was asked to fix the issue by correcting the vendor details.
- OCRPAC is compatible with Optional Fields. If a licensed version of the “Transaction Analysis & Opt.Field Creator” module has been installed then data can be extracted from the document and saved into the optional fields.
